O’Neill Architecture focus on connecting the interior of a building with the exterior.
We help our clients take full advantage of their entire site, its environment and orientation. This naturally leads to energy conscious and sustainable design solutions. Indoor and outdoor spaces blend together to create a comprehensive development that fits easily with its natural surroundings and the client’s needs.
We have a particular interest in old buildings, reviving them and complimenting them with new modern interventions giving them a new lease of life with natural materials.
As well as the standard Architectural Services we offer a DESIGN CLINIC,
This service is suitable to those thinking of getting work done to their homes but are unsure how to approach it. Patti O’Neill MRIAI registered Architect, comes to the property in question and listens to your needs to establish a clear brief. After a comprehensive understanding of the house and site she offers suggestions and advice in the form of sketches and a work plan. These improvements range from simple layout adjustments to where to put an extension. They are always cost-effective. We advise on employing an architect for the whole process or what to watch out for if going straight to a contractor and on how to keep within budget.
And our new HEALTHY FLOWING HOMES program
We have refined the new Healthy Flowing Homes program over the last year to add the final dimension of peace and tranquility to your home. By using old and new world methodologies, the use of natural healthy building materials and conservation methods where appropriate, Architect Patti O’Neill adds this service to the consultation. The results are always a calm flow from one room to the next with comfortable, contrasting and beautiful spaces throughout the home ensuring peace of mind.
Prior to establishing her own practice, Patti worked with Don O’Neill Consulting, Nenagh, on a wide range of housing projects, before joining Murray O’Laoire Architects, Limerick, in 2005. There she gained extensive additional experience in the design, construction and project management of large commercial projects. Part of her university studies included a project with architect Prof. Lebbeus Woods in New York City in the year of 1993.
