The works required for our newly refurbished offices in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary consisted mainly of stripping back the years of unsuitable materials and poor workmanship the building had been subjected to. For example PVC tiles and laminate roles were tightly pasted to all flooring and staircases. This was removed and uncovered the timbers beneath which now received a dark protective stain. The ground floor had a concrete slab beneath the layers of plastic and an attractive cement floor finish was applied. Also in the ground floor mould build-up on the walls, caused by the non-breathable cement renders, were also partially removed and the brick and stone re-pointed with lime mortar. The layouts of the WCs and canteen were rearranged to change the former situation of a WC door falling into the kitchen sink!

The shop front was revamped with teak display cabinets which have awakened the passers-by to the existence of their local architect. The slate grey & silver colours chosen for the shop front and signage now compliment the black & gold of the existing other shop front of the same property.
